Mount Airy Rotary - Scholarship Program

The Rotary Club of Mt. Airy will be awarding a scholarship again this year. The scholarship is one thousand five hundred ($1,500) for each of the four years of undergraduate work for a total award of six thousand ($6000). The student must maintain a 2.75 GPA and be enrolled as a full time student for the four years.

The criteria to apply for the scholarship are as follows:

Academic achievement, a transcript must be submitted.
Social activities, societies, clubs in school, church and community.
A letter from the student demonstrating financial need, career interests, other awards and scholarships received.
Three character reference letters.
Reside in the immediate Mt. Airy, Md area

The above must be received by April 15, 2011 and should be mailed to the attention of The Scholarship Committee, Mt. Airy Rotary Club, P. O. Box 531, Mt. Airy, MD 21771.
